About the Associat$ Programme

How do I join?

Simply fill in the information requested in the associat€$ application form, to join our association passionate about literature. If you wish, you can start establishing links to our site following the technical guidelines we provide, the links should work straight away. However there will be no commission paid until your participation in the programme is confirmed.

You will receive confirmation from us shortly after you submit your request to participate in the programme.

How does the Associat€$ Programme work?

The idea is that other web sites are compensated financially for directing customers to our web site who then make an eBook purchase. The system is based on the commercial effectiveness of web links, known as e-recommendations, which link other web sites with Todoebook and allow anyone with a web site to feature a publication and offer additional information and links and receive a sum for including our titles on their site.

Each associate will be assigned an Associate Identification Code (referred to as a CUC) to link the sales made as a result of a referral with a payment to the corresponding associate.

The Associat€$ Programme requires that e-recommendations are made from other web sites to Todoebook.

There are two types of e-recommendations: Global and Direct.

Who can join the Associat€$ Programme?

Almost anyone can apply to join, as the only requirement is to comply with current European Union legislation.

It is important to note that the inclusion of our titles on the associate's web site and the capapcity to sell them are the main reasons for financial reward. Therefore booksellers on the Internet have an advantage over amateurs due to their previous experience in recommending titles.

What is the difference between the two types of e-recommendations?

The two types of e-recommendations are:

Global E-Recommendation:
This is a link to Todoebook without specific reference to a particular publication. The referral is to Todoebook as a useful site to find electonic titles. This type of e-recommendation is suitable for inclusion on those web pages which are contents pages, such as: home pages, services pages and pages with links to other sites.

Direct E-Recommendation:
This is a link to Todoebook with specific reference to a particular publication. The referral could be from a specific page which contains content relevant to the subject of the publication. This type of recommendation is suitable to complement the subject matter of a web page by including documentation and a bibliography accessible in real time through eBook format.

In technical terms, how does it work?

It couldn't be easier. In each case it is a question of cutting and pasting a code within your web page and following the instructions below:

Global E-Recommendation:

It can be either Static and/or Dynamic:

Static: Link straight to the home page:

<a href="http://www.todoebook.com/index.asp?cuc=The assigned CUC"><IMG SRC="http://www.todoebook.com/graficos/cuc/todoebooklogoname.gif" BORDER="0" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" alt="Colaborador de Todoebook.com"></a>

To see and select a logo, go to the logos page.

Dynamic: Including a search window on your web page which comes up with a list of matches.

Ejemplo:

<form name="form1" method="post" action="="http://www.todoebook.com/result-busq.asp">
<table width="140" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" background=" http://www.todoebook.com/Graficos/cuc/buscador-verde.gif" height="94">
<tr><td height="43" colspan="2">&nbsp; <INPUT TYPE=hidden NAME="cuc" VALUE="The assigned CUC"></td></tr><tr>
<td width="102"><div align="left"><img src="Graficos/punto-blanco.gif" width="1" height="1" hspace="1">
<input type="text" name="Buscar" size="12" maxlength="25">
</div> </td> <td width="38"><div align="center"><input type="image" src="Graficos/cuc/boton-busq-beige-cl.gif" width="21" height=21" border="0" hspace="1"></div></td></tr><tr><td colspan="2">&nbsp;</td></tr></table></form>

To see and select a search logo, go to the logos page.

*In both cases it is necessary to include your assigned CUC where indicated, chose one of the following logos from the page already mentioned.

Direct E-Recommendation:

We need to already have the ISBN or code of each publication which is to be recommended.

<a href="http://www.todoebook.com/ficha-public.asp?isbn=ISBN&cuc=The assigned CUC"><IMG SRC="http://www.todoebook.com/portadas/med/ISBN.jpg" BORDER="0" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" alt="Colaborador de Todoebook.com"></a>

*The ISBN or DOI and assigned CUC must be included in the appropriate places.

How much will an associate receive?

By looking at the information on each of the publications sold at Todoebook, you will see that some of them have a yellow €$ graphic. Only the publications marked with this graphic can be included in the Associat€$ Programme .

5% of the RRP including VAT of each order made from a Global e-recommendation.
10% of the RRP including VAT of each order made from a Direct e-recommendation.

The eBooks featured in any order resulting from both types of e-recommendations will all be considered as Global e-recommendations.

How do Associates keep up to date with their Associate accounts?

Once you are authorised to incorporate links from your web site, you will also be given access to an extranet where you can control the evolution of your participation in the programme. You will be able to see:

- The number of referrals from your e-recommendations.
- Sales made as result of your e-recommendations.
- Total commission to date.

How is the commission paid?

The minimum accumulated commission which you can request payment for is 30.

Currently the commissionable amount will be considered for amounts generated from sales made over 60 days previously.

Once the request for payment is made, a cheque will be sent to the postal address which appears in the associate's file held on the web site.

The maximum length of time in which to request payment from contabilidad@publidisa.com is one year from when the minimum amount is exceeded (30 ). At the end of this period the associate will forfeit any outstanding commission.

If after two years the 30 amount has not been exceeded. Todoebook may cancel the privileges of the associate at any time, the associate will forfeit any right for payment of their commission.

What contact exists between the Associate and the purchaser?

None whatsoever. The Associate will not have access to any of the personal details of the purchaser, and therefore will have no responsibility for them.

Todoebook will take care of the sale and dispatch processes of the eBooks sold via e-recommendations, without requesting help or support from the Associate.

Are there any possible limitations for Associates?

Being an Associate is a temporary and subjective privilege which is subject to the sole discretion of Todoebook. Todoebook may therefore grant and withdraw membership at any time without justification, informing the associate of the decision via electronic mail. In the event of a loss of Associate privileges resulting from a unilateral decision from Todoebook which is not documented as a possible cause in the present conditions, Todoebook is obliged to make a payment for the accumulated commission which corresponds with the date of the loss of privileges.

Todoebook does not provide a telephone support service, nor an e-mail service in addition to that offered in their web pages, furthermore telephone calls related to the Associat€$ Programme will not be dealt with. All queries and requests must be submitted to Publidisa.

It is strictly forbidden to include e-recommendations on web pages which include or have links to sexually explicit, violent, racist, discriminative or illegal material. The failure to comply with this condition will lead to the immediate withdrawal of associate membership.

Publicaciones Digitales, S.A. is the owner of the name " Todoebook" and has exclusive rights over the conditions of use of the name and logo. Associates are obliged to respect the guidelines made in relation to its use, in particular in terms of not modifying the graphics and format which are set out in the Associat€$ Programme. Only they should be used and they must not be changed in any way.
